Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using True Protection by Jag ("the Service"), operated by Jag Journey, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

True Protection by Jag is proprietary Windows user-mode endpoint security providing malware scanning, optional JagAI behavioral analysis, Windows Firewall (user-mode) controls, and a customer dashboard. The public desktop agent is the Windows MSI. macOS and Linux are not Supported launch platforms. JagAI is branded JagAI only.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent via a Family Plan)

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

All users receive the Free tier: Windows user-mode protection, community signatures, antivirus scanning, and Windows Firewall (user-mode) controls at no cost. There is no 14-day trial. JagAI, extra seats, and org features are paid. The Free tier does not include kernel anti-rootkit, DPI, or WFP.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Pay by Jag. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle. Prices are listed on our Pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days notice. There is no File Security or Server Edition SKU.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion and may be requested within 30 days of an initial subscription purchase.

5. License Keys and Device Limits

Each subscription tier includes a maximum number of devices. A server counts as one device. You do not buy a bigger license because the box is a server. License keys are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, or redistribute license keys. We reserve the right to deactivate keys that violate these terms. Activate from the desktop app. The customer dashboard is not the operator admin panel.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service (except where permitted by law for interoperability)
• Use the Service to develop competing security products
• Attempt to circumvent license key validation or device limits
• Submit false or misleading threat signatures or community contributions
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Abuse the community forum or knowledge base with spam or malicious content

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, algorithms, JagAI models, threat signatures, documentation, and branding, is the proprietary property of Jag Journey, LLC. The free tier grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or commercial purposes. Paid subscriptions grant additional features in accordance with these terms.

8. Community Contributions

If you submit threat signatures, forum posts, or other content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute such contributions for the purpose of improving the Service and protecting all users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL DETECT ALL THREATS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. NO SECURITY SOFTWARE CAN GUARANTEE 100% PROTECTION AGAINST ALL THREATS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAG JOURNEY, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SYSTEM DAMAGE, SECURITY BREACHES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jag Journey, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability and intellectual property) shall survive.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
